Written by: Jenesis Lindbo, Independent Living Specialist at C.I.L.W.W.

For people with mild low vision, reading fatigue, reading difficulties including dyslexia, and for anyone who consumes large amounts of text. OrCam Read is a first-of-its-kind handheld device with a smart camera that seamlessly reads text from any printed surface or digital screen. Enjoy the morning paper, read any book, and even read all that appears on your computer or smartphone screen.

Please note that this item is only available for demonstrations through Center for Independent Living for Western Wisconsin at this time.

For more information about the OrCam Read, please reach out to Jenesis Lindbo, Independent Living Specialist, by calling 715-233-1070 extension 222 or by emailing jlindbo@cilww.com

There are various services available through the assistive technology program at C.I.L.W.W. as a part of the WisTech Assistive Technology Program. Our agency can provide information on WisTech’s alternative financing options (WisLoan, Telework, and TEPP) per request.
