Today, the assistive technology that we are looking at is a family game everyone knows – Monopoly! With extra-large playing cards that have braille and large print on them, individuals that are blind or have low vision can play the game with ease. The board is also larger and has an overlay on top of it to make the spaces and properties easier to identify. Each space is labeled in both braille and print so anyone can play. Also included are braille dice.

There are various services available through the assistive technology program at C.I.L.W.W. as a part of the WisTech Assistive Technology Program. Our agency can provide information on WisTech’s alternative financing options (WisLoan and Telework) per request.
